InsideView IE Settings for Microsoft CRM

InsideView Insights for Microsoft Dynamics CRM is one of the best sales and social intelligence solution available and I highly recommend it.  It is included at no additional charge with all Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Professional and Enterprise licenses in the United States and Canada!

During a recent InsideView Microsoft CRM Outlook Client setup – I’d encountered the following error while trying to “Sync” the InsideView data with Microsoft CRM:  “Looks like we ran into an issue… There was a problem while connecting to InsideView…”image


I was able to resolve the above error via the following Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE)  settings:

  • Add “” to IE Trusted sites
  • Add “” to IE Compatibility View
  • Add “” to IE pop-ups exceptions
